Both Indonesia and Japan minister of foreign affairs, Retno Marsudi and Taro Kano present to signed Fisheries Infrastructures Develoment Agreement on Monday, 25 June 2018.
This agreement named “Exchange of Note (EN) on Integrated Marine and Fisheries Centers and Fish Market” was done within startegic bilateral dialogs The 6th Strategic Dialogue of Indonesia-Japan in Indonesia The Ministry of Foreign Affairs office.

Indonesia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Retno Marsudi said that later this document will be a framework for the development of integrated fishery markets and ports in the outer islands of Indonesia.
Development of fishery center will be located in 6 outer islands of Indonesia, which are Biak, Moa, Morotai, Natuna, Sabang, dan Saumlaki. According to officials of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia, the government of Japan funds of about 6 billion yen or equivalent to Rp 777 billion.
Later Japan will help the technology of fisheries, market development, and capacity development for Indonesian resources in fisheries.
